What is M.I.R.E?
The Moberg Institute for Research and Education is an independent research and development initiative focused on artificial intelligence, applied technology, and the expanding use of technology in our lives. Our mission is to advance practical AI methods while remaining grounded in human values and long-term responsibility.
Who founded M.I.R.E.?
M.I.R.E. was co-founded by Vicktor Moberg and Madelyn Pierce. Vicktor ia a software engineer and former chef turned technologist, with a background in AI development, systems integration, and applied research. Madelyn received her Bachelor's of Science in psychology with an emphasis on neural science and has worked in clinical research, in a variety of roles with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and University Hospitals.
What areas of research do you focus on?
Our current work includes:
Cross-model interoperability (protocols for embedding exchange).
AI agent architectures and orchestration.
Explorations at the intersection of ethics and technology.
Are your papers open access?
Yes. Drafts, white papers, and technical documents are made freely available through our website and repositories (such as arXiv and GitHub).
Can I collaborate or contribute?

Is M.I.R.E. a nonprofit?
Moberg Institute for Research and Education is structured as a Domestic Non-Profit Corporation in the State of Ohio and a 501c(3) public charity with the IRS.
